As part of a surreal reality set by the Japanese occupiers, these people were repeatedly taken from their homes, separated, and then forced to work for the Imperial Army in hazardous conditions.
The Japanese Army had its own way of dealing with anyone who showed any sign of disloyalty, weakness, or unwillingness to work. One of their favored methods of punishment, was to create a circle of fire around them and then set the prisoners on fire.
As the fire spread around the circle of prisoners, all would scream and struggle to escape, and as they did so, their clothes would be set on fire as well.
The Japanese would then gather around the fire and watch with delight as the prisoners burned alive.
This was the fate of countless prisoners throughout the duration of the war, and the practice was particularly common during the harsh, brutal Japanese occupation of the Philippines.
Along with the torture, fear, starvation, and forced labor, many of these prisoners would be buried alive as well.Portable audio players provide great convenience to users. Moreover
