When I run the second command, I get the following output:
This repository doesn't have any tags
I find no trace of a PEP version or tag name.
So my questions are:
Why does the first command report "This repository doesn't have any tags" although the second one reports "This repository has no tags"?
Why the first command doesn't report a version number?
The Python setup.py file of netfabb-2015-scaricare-keygen-64-bits-italiano contains the following PEP numbers:
PEP 390: netfabb-2015-scaricare-keygen-64-bits-italiano, this is the same PEP I've already mentioned (it's PEP 390 in netfabb-2015-scaricare-keygen-64-bits-italiano)
PEP 1084: netfabb-2015-keygen, the keygen I'm using
PEP 1015: netfabb-2015-keygen-64-bits-italiano, the keygen I'm creating a local version of
A:
So I found the answer.
In the PEP page, there's a paragraph reporting that:
The current and "expected" release numbers are available in the setup.py file:
setup.py
# This is the expected version
expected_version = (3, 7, 0)
# This is the current version
version = '0.2'
So my first command:
git show --pretty=format:%an netfabb-2015-keygen/master:master
actually shows the current version number:
0.2-master-pep27
My second command:
python setup.py show
tells that the expected version number is (3, 7, 0) and not the current one:
This repository has no tags
This is what I've missed.
